I hope you drop by the NCLEX Forum at: https://allnurses.com/forums/f197/ . Perhaps that will help.

Hi, I graduated in May 2006...I been lurking and posting in the NCLEX boards ever since then..The majority of the NCLEX board would say study Saunders and do the questions on the CD for nursing content...And go for Kaplan NCLEX PN book/questions for NCLEX style type of thinking and questions..
That is what I got from reading the NCLEX board for 3 months and asking questions..I take NCLEX in 1.5 weeks..
I finish lpn school 1 year ago.I took the test and failed.. I have been very discourage to retake. :chair: I've been hiding behind being a mommy for a while and i know i really need to get the ball rolling . I could really use some good study guide from anyone.... hellllllpppp
I am sorry to hear that you didn't do well in NCLEX-PN. I would listen to Bala Shark and purchase Saunders (and ESPECIALLY Kaplans stragedy book), or I would consider Delmar's Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-PN as well. Also, consider a review course (although I know they can be expensive). I wish you luck. I would make a study schedule to stick close to, and list where your weaknesses are (did they send you an outline of where they feel you had trouble?) and focus on them first, and try and keep that for about two months, at least.
