I used a combination of College Network books and the recommended text. I bought the college network books off ebay and the recommend books on half. I only purchased the fundamentals, medsurg, maternity and peds and mental health. The rest you don't need. Some people use Lisa Arends and Studgroup101. They were okay but I perfer reading my material and not refering to someones notes. I sold all my books back on Ebay without any problems.

I just started up after stopping 3 years ago. Seems like istudy smart, chancellors, TCN are all ok. EC approves of istudysmart which has the workbook, cd or online versions. i've heard some use just the handbook for the medsurg, varcarolis/psych, and kozier fundamentals. I'm finding it a bit of a ch:bugeyes:llenge to pick it up again.

All I used was the free study guides from EC. The $65 practice tests from EC were worth their weight in gold though. My friends informed me that Rue, The College Network, etc. were not worth the money.

I mostly use the texts I have here. I did buy the text for Lifespan Psychology and Transitions, because I had nothing comparable. I got everything from Amazon and will resell these when done.

I found most of the books recommended by EC on Ebay priced between $1-$27. These are older edition books but the content is the same for a fraction of the cost. I also checked out half price books and newer editions for 1/4 of the regular price.

I used the free study guides, my LVN nursing books and the internet. I passes all exams in 3 months and am taking the CPNE this weekend. Congrats on passing!
