  1. Thank you guys for the info. I will look into the options you mentioned:yeah:
  2. Ok, so I got my degree audit from EC. It says I need the following: 2 Semester hours in Sociology, 4 A&P, 2 Micro, 2 Science and Supportive Nursing, 1 Free Elective or Additional Arts & Sciences From what I am reading I need to take Foundations in Gerontology for Social Sciences? Is that the only option I have for that component? I want to get started but I honestly don't know where to begin. Anyone have any pearls of wisdom on how to get started and with what materials you did well with? Thanks guys.
  3. I have worked in LTAC and physicians offices and it is like night and day. I am an LVN working for a large group of Internists and making $20/hr. My hours are M-F 8:30-5, I get major holidays off, great benefits, office perks, etc etc My main job responsibility is telephone triage which can get a bit hairy sometimes, but by no means is it as stressful as working the floor. The only thing that bothers me about this job is the docs call their MA's "nurses" to the patients. Drives me crazy because it is a bit misleading:mad: Hope this helps.
  4. I found most of the books recommended by EC on Ebay priced between $1-$27. These are older edition books but the content is the same for a fraction of the cost. I also checked out half price books and newer editions for 1/4 of the regular price.
