I was having this discussion with a friend, but we later agree to to these. Hope this will benefit all nurses student still in school or awaiting to take NCLEX. 1- cross out the left and write in the right and initial the consent.

2- ask the pt to sign the consent form

3- have the parents to sign the consent form

4- notify the operating room and reschedule the surgery.

i also want to add that interventions for uteroplacental insufficiency are -positioon (side-lying (left or right) or knee-chest, O2 and IV fluid)
