One thing I found out when its for real, is the amount of walking, bending over, and squatting down you have to do while giving out care. I would at least go walking three times a week and practice bending over and touching your toes ten times a night, as well as 20 squats. It wouldn't hurt to watch your diet and lose a few pounds in your last semester so your feet won't have so much weight on them all day. Nursing is harder than everyone thinks it is especially if you are going to work a med surg floor or nursing home, so keep your back and feet strong and flexible. Just a heads up tip...
