Students for Fall 2014 Tri-C program?

Published

I knew I may be kind of premature with this topic but I wanted to start a thread for the people who have been accepted into the Tri-C nursing program for the fall semester. As of this morning, I was provisionally accepted into the program at Metro. Has anyone else been placed and if so which campus?

Well we are all down to the wire. 2 weeks from Monday we will be starting. How is everybody doing on getting stuff ready? Anybody going to the additional orientation next week?

I can't believe we are starting in 2 weeks! It seems as if summer has flown by. I still have to purchase my shoes , tote, and like three books but otherwise I am done.

I am going to the additional orientation. I feel that it might be helpful.

How are things coming along with you? Are you ready?

That is good to hear! And yes it has just flown by.

I still have to get my books and tote. I have to wait until the book voucher is put on because I don't have the funds else wise. But hopefully that will be pretty soon.

Yeah I am going to it as well. I am not sure if it will be the morning or afternoon one though. I do find it interesting that it is only being held at Metro this time.

As for being ready, I don't know if I could answer that. lol

anyone going to the optional orientation tomorrow?

I have to say this orientation, for me, went better and was more useful.

I also just checked blackboard, and my instructors are starting to upload stuff. So I would totally check it out because some have the schedule for the course posted and could be used to get a head start on.

Hi, I just graduated from Tri-C east nursing program, and am preppin to take my NCLEX soon - I wish you the best of luck & when times get tough remember to keep the big picture in your mind !!!

Quick question...

What are we supposed to bring for the first day of class? Do we bring the blue tote or any books? Someone told me that we don't have to bring anything on the first day...

The instructors told us during the 2pm orientation that we should bring paper, recorder, and a pen/pencil.

I'm just bringing my notebook, pencil, recorder and my notes. We only have to bring the tote to lab.

Congrats on graduating! Also good luck with your NCLEX. Do you have any tips for us newbies beginning this journey?

Tomorrow is the big day! Good luck to everyone who have classes tomorrow. I don't have lecture until Thursday.

Hello

I was accepted into the fall RN nursing program for 2015. I'm very excited about it and can't wait to start. Wanted to know does anyone know where Tri C nursing stands with their accreditation?
