Students for Fall 2014 Tri-C program?

U.S.A. Ohio

Published

I knew I may be kind of premature with this topic but I wanted to start a thread for the people who have been accepted into the Tri-C nursing program for the fall semester. As of this morning, I was provisionally accepted into the program at Metro. Has anyone else been placed and if so which campus?

hey musaafirah

the evaluation usually take up to two weeks. call them if u haven't heard anything a week after. there still have opening on the fall 2014. so don't be too stressful. good luck

Please remember that Tri-c closed for the last week of 2013, plus a couple of days were lost due to the weather. Since classes begin tomorrow, the office staff has been focused on getting the current students ready to go. Give it another week and then contact them.

I would call them if you still haven't heard a response. I submitted mine for review around that same time and got my testing information a few days after campuses re-opened this month.

So I took the HesI A2 exam and passed. I'm super excited to officially get in but I'm still waiting on the information back from the school. It's going on 4 weeks now. How long did it take everybody else to get their packet information to apply for the semester and campus?

The College only receives the Hesi scores once a month. I do not know when in the month that is, but you could contact them and find out.

Has anyone else started on the requirements needed before orientation? Where is a good place to look for CPR classes? 110 dollars seem a little too steep for me.

I am actually glad you asked that. I was officially accepted today and the email said that everything has to be finished by the orientation. It then stated that we will get the invite to the orientation come April. Does this actually mean the orientation is in April or later in the year since we don't start until August and having to do all of the requirements in a month will be a bit of a stretch.

And I agree on that amount being high. Some of the shots and the physical costs some too.

I took my CPR at CPROhio for $50.

Thanks!

Thanks! I just got in as there was only Eastern Nights left but as I preferred the evening program it all worked out. So we have about a month and a half to get it all done. Can you say crunch time!! Lol

Hey vulsker

u have to have all the required document uploaded to the website by April 15. And the orientation should hold at the end of may or begin of June. If u got the hep b vaccine done, u should be ok. Since three doses of the hep b might take 4 month to finish. Go to the nurse homepage n print out the vaccine from n bring it to ur doctor. Hope that help. Congrats on the acceptation n good luck
