Attrition rate has continued to be high. Its a tough program. Every day is a struggle, but they do try to help as much as they can and it's a great program. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. They really prepare you to work independently.

Specializes in CRNA.

I tell you all of this because I thought I had no chance in getting in due to my prior college experience when I was young. I wasn't a 4.0 student with a clean record but I somehow by the grace of god got in. I applied to 5 schools including the Mayo Clinic and a school out in Cali and received interviews to every school I applied to. I only interviewed at one and that was TCU because it was my first choice. Be confident in applying to CRNA School and know you are ready. This isn't a cheap endeavor.

I really like this because it gives me hope. I am currently taking my pre-reqs to bridge from Paramedic to RN and I started with a 2.25 GPA from my previous school. After just two semesters I am up to a 2.53 cumulative and a 2.7 for graduation (I have retaken a few classes that I failed the previous trip through.) I was under a CRNA while I was doing intubation clinicals in the OR for Paramedic, and I really enjoyed what I saw. I am looking forward to this long journey (around 7-8 years) and TCU is my number one choice due to the distant learning at two hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Thank you all for replying, greatly appreciated.
