Student Nurse Externship

Hello All,

I am going into my final year in nursing school. I am currently pursuing an Associate Degree. The school that I attend is outside the United States. I would really like to complete a student nurse externship in the summer of 2010 in NYC. Does anyone know of any hospitals that offer student nurse externship? If so please reply to this post.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

I would image you need to discuss this with your school as it needs to be OK'd plus I should image you will need some sort of insurance and many hospitals will prefer to take local nursing students as many will be requiring or looking for exterships
