im taking the exam in a few weeks and i just wanna know what can give you a slight edge in the exam.how many breaks should i take? if the question is really difficult or have no idea, should i just go on with the next question or try harder to answer? please share anything you know

edit:in SATA questions, is it possible to choose all answers or choose only one,and be correct? sorry, anxiety is high

I think its best just to go into the test with a clear head. It took me like an hour and a half to get to the testing center, so I just threw on Spotify and listened to some of my favorite music. I just felt at ease when I took the test and was just content with doing the best I was capable of doing. The first time I took NCLEX I only used the breaks scheduled on the computer screen. I think it's better to take them as you feel fatigued. The 2nd time I took the test I didn't take any breaks the computer cut off before I was fatigued or alerted by the computer to take a break. The rule of thumb for SATA questions is that you can't choose them all or just choose one and get it correct. You have to at least choose two answers and you can choose all but one answer and get it correct.

I took the 3 day NCLEX review and they told us with SATA always remember it's always going to be more than 1 but not all of them! If you do not answer ALL the answer choices right even if you get 1 you didn't pick the whole question is scored wrong

Hello, I think you should take as many breaks as you need before getting fatigued. There is this myth out there that I am not sure its true but followed anyway... The test is suppose to test your ability to be safe or keep a patient safe. So if there is a question that you have no clue about, always chose an answer that would keep the patient safe or (do no harm). In my personal experience I was always able to narrow the answers to 2 and the other 2 are unsafe or unrelated. The myth says that you get partial credit for picking a safe answer. This is just something to think about. Do not quote me or anything.. Good Luck!!
