Hi all,
Thought I'd start a thread here so we can connect. I am in the process of taking my pre-reqs and plan to submit my application by the Oct 2019 deadline for the Summer 2020 start.
I'm planning on attending the Sept 19 info session on campus - anyone else going?

I don't want to jinx it, but I think if you were called in for an interview and did OK on the math and writing assessment - more than likely you will be accepted. I think they are just behind in paperwork things.
On another note, is anyone taking patho and pharma to get ahead this spring?
I remember you saying that! Which makes it worse that rejections were decided on and the notifications for them were simply not sent out yet. I feel like it’s cruel to make someone wait so long if it’s a rejection.

I've been doing all the paperwork as if I am going. I would suggest you do to!!!! It would suck if you ended up in a situation with no options. Stony Brook is the first choice, but it can't hurt to have a back up. That's what I have been doing. Just doing everything as if I am going there and if it comes up that Stony Brook is an option at that point I will reevaluate. I may not get in to SB and wouldn't want to have passed up another opportunity!
NYU was my dream school but I declined the offer, bc they only give you two weeks to respond. I walked out of that financial aid office so upset bc it’s not fair. I would have to be on three loans, including a scholarship (meager amount) compared to the total tuition. It was not worth it. I just hope I made the right choice.

I understand. I was accepted to University of Miami last week and I feel the same way. The tuition is crazy.
