Stony Brook's ABSN Class of 2023

Hi everyone! I am applying to Stony Brook's ABSN and wanted to create this thread for anyone who wanted to share stats, updates or need assistance!

I know it was always so difficult to reach them, I would have to email like 4 times LOL. Yeah, I would think so too but I'm pretty sure I read in another thread that one-year people heard back from Binghamton before Stony Brook even tho Bing application isn't even due until mid- November. UGH! Just stressful and anxiety provoking ?

Yeah when 4pm comes around I stop refreshing my eail. ? 

I couldn't help myself so I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and asked when we would be hearing from them. My application was probably just revoked! ?

I emailed her to ask her like 2 weeks ago when we should expect to hear back, no answer ?

I did email her once awhile back and she told me end of October beginning of November. Maybe she'll take pity on us. I said I'm sorry to bother you .... LOL ?

Yes, I called a couple hours ago and they said that the nursing program doesn't accept phone calls because its "too hectic" I've tried emailing and she told me they changed emails… I don't know I just want an answer LOL.

OK I also called Admissions office and they said to email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), they didn't know.  LOL! #stalker

Would they start interviews as early as next week? I figured they would need more time to schedule them first, like a couple of weeks or so. I thought I remember seeing interviews going on in December but I could be just making that up in my head LOL

If I am remembering correctly, last year, they got interview invitations around November 3rd, and interviews were Monday the 9th and 16th, and based on other years they always interview around the first 2 weeks of November.

I’ve had better communication with all other programs. They told me last week or a little over a week they just got done with fee waivers, so they didn’t start reviewing applications yet. BUT they took literally super long to reply to my email and I had to call. The question I had they kept giving me different answers.
