Stony Brook's ABSN Class of 2023

Hi everyone! I am applying to Stony Brook's ABSN and wanted to create this thread for anyone who wanted to share stats, updates or need assistance! 

I was really hoping we were going to hear back this week. If it's not today or tomorrow I am going to lose my mind! You all are keeping me sane with your posts, LOL.

You are not alone I feel like I already lost my patience with this. Even if I don't get the invite I would still like to know so I could say my peace ! Thanks everyone for updating

Last year, their interviews were on the 2nd and 3rd Monday’s of November. I really thought we would’ve heard by now if they’re following that schedule…but maybe they’re not!

Do you guys think there is any chance they stopped interviewing and are just accepting or denying? Just a thought, I have no idea LOL

Hi! I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all your posts. They have been keeping me a bit calmer in regards to this whole waiting period.

Oh wow that would be so nice I tried emailing them to see if they could give us timeline on when to expect but no response.

I honestly have no idea, just a thought, I could be very wrong!! I honestly had no idea there was even an interview because there is nothing on the website that says there is an interview or any information like that. I only learned that when I read older posts!! 

I could be wrong haha but just an idea since we haven't heard back.

Hmm I can't imagine they could go without interviewing, but who knows. In past years around like '17/'18, they had received 800 applications and still had heard back by now about interviews! (I'm starting to get impatient and going deep lurking old threads to pass the time).

Yeah, I don't know every school is different, Stony Brook is the only school I applied to that even does interview! I know schools have changed some things in the past year so I wasn't sure. Just a thought, like I said I could be very wrong haha I'm just surprised (and anxious) we haven't heard back.

Right, I'm surprised too, because it seems like every year it's been on a similar schedule, and I would think they'd need to complete them before Thanksgiving? I'm so tempted to call them but it can be hard to reach a human there and I also don't really want them to know who I am LOL
