Hi everyone! I am applying to Stony Brook's ABSN and wanted to create this thread for anyone who wanted to share stats, updates or need assistance!

Hi everyone ! From what I'm noticing from everyone else I'm the least competitive applicant I have a 3.0 GPA and I'm not sure on what's my prerequisite GPA tbh I just know I took every prerequisite and currently taking Microbiology. I recently started a pharmacy technician job, I did include all my extracurriculars. I am applying to a couple other programs but SBU is definitely in my top 3.

Also has anyone heard back for interviews yet? I'm super anxious just waiting.

Hey! Couple of questions if anyone can answer. Has anyone heard back or know when we will regarding interviews? Also, are the interviews in person? I read back in some past threads and saw that. What about people who aren't currently in NY, I am still in undergrad in Tennessee and graduating in December? Has covid maybe moved this to zoom?

Hi everyone!

I have not heard back yet. I believe we will get an email within the next two weeks. Interviews prior to COVID were in person but are now through zoom.

I still have not heard back either. I'm not sure how they're conducting interviews hopefully it is through zoom though.

Hi everyone!

I was looking at least years thread and they didn't receive any emails until November 3rd. So I assume they will send out the first wave of interviews next week.

Me too...if last year is any indication, it has to be sometime this week right? I'm really curious how many applications they received. At one point I tried to find out in past threads and vaguely remember estimates of at least 6 or 700?
