Hi everyone! I am applying to Stony Brook's ABSN and wanted to create this thread for anyone who wanted to share stats, updates or need assistance! 

Does anyone know where in SOLAR I can accept my admission and make the payment? I can't find out which tab it is.

I just received a reponse. Admissions said that you have to wait 24 hours in order to accept your decision in Solar! Good luck and congrats to everyone ?

I can't get in either. Any chance you're an alum? I am and am wondering if maybe it remembers my old password from a few years ago and so my birthdate won't work. There is an option to reset the password I might try

Was anyone able to make the initials deposit? There’s a box there for me on solar but nothing listed so it won’t let me pay

Is anyone going to be living on campus or near by? I live in the city so it’s a bit too far for me to commute..

Hello! Congrats to everyone who has been accepted, I just received my acceptance and am trying to submit my deposit on Solar and it is not showing an option for payment. Is anyone else having this problem? I have tried submitting it on three different web browsers and am experiencing the same issues on each

Yeah, I’m trying to do it as well. It’s saying to use Firefox or Mozilla if there’s an issue, but I’ve only tried on safari and chrome so maybe that’s why. If I can’t get it by the end of the day, I’m going to email admissions.

Someone on here said they already contacted them and we need to wait 24 hours after yesterday's email for it to show up as payable on SOLAR.

edit: I am seeing that the option to accept the decision on SOLAR is up now - maybe once we press accept there, the deposit option will appear?

If you go to Self Service --> Student Admission --> Admission Decision Reponse, you can accept the offer on SOLAR. Now that I did that, my deposit is showing up!
