Hi everyone! I am applying to Stony Brook's ABSN and wanted to create this thread for anyone who wanted to share stats, updates or need assistance!

I read their reviews on the program. Someone mentioned that since the program starts in fall, the first semester is soo less intense compare to program start in Summer which gives you time to get used to it. Then it gets more intense in Spring then finish it in Summer. Which one would you prefer tho?

Honestly, I was debating between Fall and Spring but they told me I could always defer my application. But for now I would rather the Fall semester, I feel like once you're in you'll have an idea of your study methods and all which personally I feel will prepare me more especially since everything has been on Zoom I kinda forgot how to study, right now I usually just skim my notes and hope for the best. Even though it's not as academically rigorous you'll have to get used to it regardless. But, that's just my opinion.

Are there multiple start dates? I thought there was only one

I was accepted for Spring 2022, but deferred to the Fall. I didn’t really like where the location was for the Spring start. The schedule sounds great for Pace, which they don’t make you come in every single day.

Which sounds great. But compare to Stony Brook, the price is pretty different tho. Do you know if they give out scholarships or not?
