Hi everyone! I am applying to Stony Brook's ABSN and wanted to create this thread for anyone who wanted to share stats, updates or need assistance!

Radio silence. Someone said the program said we'd hear by the end of November. I'm guessing the college is closed from Wednesday to Friday for Thanksgiving, so if we don't hear anything by Tuesday, we're gonna have to wait another week.

Yeah, also I looked at the admissions hours, and they're pretty short hours, I don't know if that means they only review during open hours but that could be a reason too. I dunno ?

Hi everyone, 

When you first completed the application, did it require you to submit your resume? I think this document was requested after I submitted my application and I am wondering if I just missed it when I was completing my application or if maybe they requested it after reviewing my app. Any info would be greatly appreciated to ease my mind.

The option to upload your resume will come after you submit the app.

sadly no, its quite frustrating and almost depressing ? The later we have interviews the later I assume we will get acceptances. not a great situation if you have other programs that start in Jan

I was super confused too! But once you go back onto your application checklist to check the status of your application there will be an option to upload the resume. Definitely do it as soon as you can before they send out interviews!!

This was about 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping it wasn't too late. Thanks for the reply!

I wouldn't worry about it! Maybe just call admissions and explain that you just uploaded it and that you weren't aware that you needed to upload it since we couldn't do it until after we submitted the application, which is different than how they've formatted it in the past years.
