My application on solar was updated on the same date as yours (which happened to be a couple of days after my interview). Just wanted to let u know so you don't feel cut short by any means by thinking the admissions never even considered your application. Because if that was the case I'd be super upset. Sorry you didn't get called for an interview. I'm sure you'll make an amazing nurse no matter where u go!

I was told that even if you don't get in interview, you still stand a chance of getting in. Stony Brook did change things up a bit so not sure if that still stands but it's what I was told just a few months ago as I was in the process of getting my application together.

You're sure about the interview statement? I've heard a lot that no interview=no acceptance. Last I heard that was the information forum last semester.

You might be right. I am not too sure either. I have also heard that no interviews=not a candidate , but also I have heard what I stated earlier that no interview does not mean you won't be accepted. So let's just wait and see. Also, I was reading forums from previous two years and I haven't read about anyone who was not interviewed and not accepted. Mostly, all that got accepted and posted here were interviewed.

I also remember during my interview they told us we were through with the hardest part by been invited to be interviewed, that means no interview no acceptance. over 600 applicants, about 200 interviewees, 80 would be accepted.

Were you interviewed for Fall 2015?

I actually just read the email they sent when scheduling interviews. The email stated "This is mandatory in order to continue your candidacy for the program" or something along those lines. So more than likely, you guys are correct.

Yes I was. I was actually interviewed on March 9 2015 with 5 other students

Oh that's great! I was interviewed March 6th with 4 other students. It went really well in my opinion. Hope yours did as well.

But yea, good luck to you and God willing, we will make the cut. :)

Yeah...it went well, everyone in my group did well in my opinion. it was like everyone was really prepared and I know it's gonna be very tough but I'm really praying and trusting God that I make the cut. my heart is set on stony and I'm hoping to make it a reality.
