I applied to the Stony Brook BSN program a few weeks ago. I just wanted to start a thread so we can keep each other updated and answer any questions. Anyone else apply?

I was wondering if the people who got accepted were willing to tell me how many times they applied before they got an interview and what was your GPA?

Also, did anyone get in that did their labs online.

Sorry for all of the questions, just curious how they base this.

I thought for the past few weeks it was going to be an actual letter but I was just casually checking my email and was super excited to find out I got accepted! Can't wait to meet you all!

got accepted. This is my first time applying. I am currently a junior at stony brook university and have a 3.70 gpa. But I know people with around 3.8 gpa still got rejected. I took all my classes on campus so I didn't take any online labs. I participated in the pre-nursing club, I feel that helped with my interview a bit. hope that helps.

Anyone else get put on the alternate list or know any info regarding how many people are usually put on it/how likely it is you’ll be taken off it?

Congrats! Yes, just search the group “Stony Brook University SON Class of 2021” I made it and it's under that name
