Hey guys,

I applied to the Stony Brook BSN program a few weeks ago. I just wanted to start a thread so we can keep each other updated and answer any questions. Anyone else apply?

Fingers crossed we hear today! I had to promise my husband and kids I wouldnt pull a prank on them regarding my acceptance:)

The stress of not knowing is truly killing me. I feel like we are all in limbo just waiting. I wish that they would just let us know by now. Does anyone think that they have a second wave of rejection letters coming out or that we are all in the clear?

i know people who got rejection letters starting 2 weeks ago. i would find it hard to believe that they're still sending them out after 2 weeks of doing so but who knows. I'm hoping thats a good sign. Good luck!

Haha I wouldn't jump there just yet. They did say 6-8 weeks and this week starts the 8th week, but the constant wondering is eating at me!

I was kinda kidding lol. Specifically, I called to ask if we’d be notified via mail or email. Suffolk sent actual mail- I changed addresses twice since I applied so I was nervous. They said email.

I've been reading this thread for ever since I applied but never participated. But I just got an acceptance, so they are sending them out now.
