Hello everyone!

I applied to Stony Brook's Basic (2-year) BSN program 3 weeks a go and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

If you are:

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current SBU student, I'd love to hear from you!

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?

I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!

Hello Everyone,

I got accepted into the accelerated 18 month nursing (BSN) program at the College of New Rochelle. It is very expensive but it is worth it.

Alvin..never heard of that school? Not familiar with it..is it in new York? Are you goin to just accept this offer and deny sbu If you get in? Cookies- so am I! I don't k ow what I would have done without this forum lol I take all my frustrations out on here

the college of new rochelle has a very good reputation of being an excellent nursing school. i might turn down sbu. lets see what happens.

I can't take the waiting its really making me loose my mind, its all I think about and I can't concentrate on finals ..... Hopefullly by Friday we all know!
