My attempt at helping those who wish to apply to the Stony Brook Accelerated (1 year) Nursing Program.
I applied for the 2 year not the one year. If any of you applied to the 2 year I started a thread recently.

I agree, I've analyzed previous forums of prior years and noticed a pattern of acceptances administered throughout December. The better candidates hear back first FYI. If no one hears back until January, there is still a chance of getting in; however, chances will be low. Hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving holiday!
Hey Everyone,
I am new to this thread but I have been keeping up.
When I interviewed, they said we would hear back before the new year. But when I went to the informational, they said mid-december. As a stony brook student currently, I would say check your Solar account for the most immediate response. People who I know who were accepted found out on solar weeks before they got their actual letter.
Also, good luck to you all!
Hey guys,
I literally check my solar every hour for changes lol . On the Wednesday and Thursday before Thanksgiving (Nov 17-18) my solar changed a little and included a tab for email, emergency contact and other personal information and also a tab to submit documents and a tab that read "application status" but when I clicked it there was "no current applications exist" or something of the sort written. On the Friday of that week, the 20th, all of those things disappeared and my solar went back to normal. Did this happen to anyone else?

Hey did you apply for the 2 year program yet or are you waiting to hear decisions for the accelerated? I'm not sure if I should just submit my application or wait it out and see.
