Can we make this the official thread for The Stony Brook Accelerated Nursing Class of 2016. Let's start posting questions and suggestions here.

When I called today they told me end of January or early February

The nursing department here can be pretty unreliable sometimes to be honest. They'll probably keep pushing the date back and back. I just hope they get the decisions back to you guys before you have to respond to other schools

That was my issue, I was accepted to Molloy so I needed to start already.

Did anyone recieve an email about the solar accounts? Does anyone know what that means? I didn't quite understand it.

I am confuse about it too. They said you about receiving waivers and recommendations stuff. So is my application not conplete?

Did you apply to both the basic and accelerated? Bc Im thinking maybe its for the basic program

I applied to both. I submitted my 2 year application on sunday

I believe that email was just for the traditional program, not for accelerated.

I'm hoping we get an answer by the 20th because nyu starts on the 26th and i only get a full tuition refund up until the end of first week of classes :/

Do you guys know how many seat are available for this accelerated class?

I was told they interviewed 180 and are accepting 80 people this year. But I'm not sure how reliable my source is so I don't know if that is true.
