Can we make this the official thread for The Stony Brook Accelerated Nursing Class of 2016. Let's start posting questions and suggestions here.

I interviewed today; I started out nervous, and calmed down towards the end. I want to echo other posters thoughts: The interviewers were friendly; the questions however, do require some thought. As a matter of fact, I found that more challenging than the remainder of the interview. The math was basic: Arithmetic,solving for x, etc. The writing portion was a 500 word, essay.

For those anticipating interview calls, the interviewers did mention that they will be interviewing for another 3-4 weeks. I interpreted that as more people getting e-mails.

Hey guys! I as well had my interview today. For future interview candidates, most important thing to remember is just be yourself and stay calm :). They don't try to scare you, they just really want to get to know you. Good luck to everyone!

If I want to apply to the 2 year BSN program do I have to do a whole new application or can I update my current application? Its a pain getting new recommendation letters.

You must do a whole new application. The people you have chosen for your recommendation letters will have to submit their letters all over again.

I used the same letters for each program though, I don't think you need to pick completely different people. Just make sure you tell your references that they will receive an email again and that they will have to submit it one more time.

Hi everyone I hope you all have a good thanksgiving, I thought they weren't calling for interviews anymore and then today I got a phone call to schedule an interview and they said that next week is the last week for interviews

That is good. I am looking at the open interview and I only see one more spots.

anyway my interview is next week. So i am super worry :(

I'm curious as to whether or not people really got in without interviews.... I think I saw a comment on here about that... Anyone else have input on that?
