Can we make this the official thread for The Stony Brook Accelerated Nursing Class of 2016. Let's start posting questions and suggestions here.
Most were, but one person had actually received a rejection and then got accepted. Unfortunately, SBU can be a bit disorganized at times. I loved the program, but organization especially with admissions wasn't their strongest quality.
As for being in another program, will you already have started or just accepted an offer? It usually only costs $100 or $200 to accept an admission offer so if you get accepted to somewhere sooner, you can always accept it and wait for SBU. If SBU accepts you and you'd rather go there, you will loose your deposit at the other school but I think it's worth it. Getting into nursing school is really competitive so if you get accepted somewhere, I'd take it.

All I'm going by is what admissions told me, which is that they plan to get decisions out by end of December/beginning of January.
"Decisions should be sent out via e-mail by late December/early January."
That's what I'm using as my reference when I say there's a small window from interviews (mid-late November) to acceptance/rejection. Only a month/month and a half.
