Can we make this the official thread for The Stony Brook Accelerated Nursing Class of 2016. Let's start posting questions and suggestions here.

Well, I'm a chicken and sent an e-mail. I just got a reply that said applications are still being reviewed. :nailbiting:

I asked if they were going to be doing interviews but she didn't answer that question.

what email do you have for them? I want to email them also

Last I heard from admissions they were definitely doing interviews. But they didn't know when that would happen.

I'm kind of nervous knowing they're still reviewing applications. :/

Yeah it's extremely nerve wracking. I thought we would know about interviews by now and at least know if we have a shot of getting in.

she just emailed me back "yes we are conducting interview and they haven't started yet"

My theory is that they probably aren't going to be interviewing as many people as they did last year. Last year during this time, most of the interviews were already over, so they lasted about 3-4 weeks. If they start the interview process within the next two weeks, you'll probably still have a chance to hear back by December. I know the year before, a lot of them heard back in January.

The strange thing is that in years past, the cohorts they didn't interview for, the later the students heard admissions decisions. I don't understand their logic. We'll just have to wait and see.

Last year I was interviewed back in October and yes they were almost done by now. I hope we hear by ending of December only because I dont know what to do if I get accepted elsewhere.
