Of course you'd be welcome. The hospital I work at in Florida did a lot of recruiting in the Philippines. You have recent experience as a nurse. That's all you should need. Once you become licensed the hospital you work at will teach what they want you to know. Let us know when you take the NCLEX. We'll cheer you on!
I talked with a nurse from the Phillipines back in the spring and if I am not mistaken, you have to check the education requirements for taking NCLEX. What kind of degree do you have?
I know for a fact that I worked with a nurse who was a doctor in a foriegn country who could not work as a doctor in the US.
