took my nclex in ca on sunday, july 29th. most od my friends received their results via the bon website in 3 days... others, including myself are waiting a lot longer. i called the bon & they couldn't answer why some get their results quicker. i got the minimum 75 questions & felt like i guessed a lot. i guess everyone feels like that.
i was supposed to start working, but keep having to get my start date postponed due to no lisence number. i didn't get my ipn cause my hospital doesn't accept. i am getting very frustrated and desperate. i wish i my results would post. i am at the mercy of the bon and it seems as though the representatives on the phone arent very eager to help.
anyone got any advice or let me know how long it took to receive your results & whether it posted online first or via post mail. thanks everyone!:uhoh3::uhoh3:
I have not got my official result from CA-BON yet, nor do I see my name on the web:banghead:. So, I assume I did not pass:scrying:. I guess I will receive my offical result sometimes next week. Anyway, I don't feel excited about the mail at all:nono:. I plan to take nclex again around the end of september.
i took mine 7th of august n got 85 q...I still haven't gotten my results. I don't mean to be negative but i think i failed:o I went to the bvnpt website and my name was not there......i failed....i need to get my official failed letter in the mail.....i guess i havee to hit the books again

Do not expect that you failed, as you are not aware of how they do things in CA for the LVN license. You will never see your name on the website as you have not paid for the license as of yet. You will get a letter in the mail with a bill for the fee if you have passed and that needs to be submitted before you will be issued a license.
And to clear up some information for the rest of you that are waiting for the results of the RN exam:
Average wait time is ten days to see your name posted, not the three days.
It can take up to a month to see your name up there if there was any issue with your file.
If you do not have a SSN#, then you will need to wait for the letter to be sent out by the BRN, you will not see your name on their website. They mail the letters about 2 1/2 weeks after testing, so depending on the mail. Expect about one month if it needs to get delivered overseas.

I'm an overseas nurse,but residing at kansas in USA & don't have SSN. I took my NCLEX-RN on Aug 2rd 2007 (CA BON) at Kansas & ran out of time @ 226Q. still i haven't got my results. When i called CA BON, they said that they have mailed my results on 15th & ask me to wait until 8/30/07.
But i just want to write and get some soothing words from you. Even when i tried to concentrate on some other things, i'm not able to do. Sometime i think i passed,but again i feel that i failed that's why my mail is getting delay.
