I'm in California and it says we are NOT a quick results state. So what does this mean? I have to wait weeks for my results?What should I be doing after I take the test?

Hopefully a Cali member will advise you when they read this.All "not a quick...." means is that pearsonvue is not authorized to release the results

Jan 15, 2008 Ca check the results themselves so the only way is website (as long as you have SSN) or wait for letter from them so can be anything from 2 days (some have reported seeing their name on website in a couple of days) to over 30 days for a letter but nothing on website and they passed

My school has STILL not sent transcripts so the CA BRN won't issue me a license anyway, but I was going to call and hope they might give me unoffical results over the phone, however, when I phoned the recording I got was basically "due to a high volume of applicants" they said sometimes it takes 6 weeks for results and of course tying up people on the phone is only causing further delay so I hung up, defeated. Most of the people I know in the past year or two found out in 2-3 days but only if their file was "complete" which mine is not. CA sucks... and I am going to lose all my hair

lvnandmomx3 834 Posts Specializes in Day program consultant DD/MR. Jan 16, 2008 I took the CA Nclex LVN not sure if your taking RN or LVN. For me I had to wait almost 4 weeks (one day shy of ) for my results in the mail.Even if you passed you name won't appear on the BVNPT website until you mail in the paper they send you with your passing results with the license fee and they process your payment( this took about 1 1/2 weeks). Once again this is for LVN not RN. Rn may be different your name may appear on BON.
