Pathophysiology: SJS is an immune-complex-mediated hypersensitivity disorder that may be caused by many drugs, viral infections, and malignancies. Cocaine recently has been added to the list of drugs capable of producing the syndrome. In up to half of cases, no specific etiology has been identified.

Thank you very much karen,i really appreciated it.

I am in the Philippines and hopefully i'l be going to Montana on February or March 2005.I had already done all the exams required for my immigration visa and actually waiting for my interview in the US embassy.I was hired by one of the healthcare facility there for 18/hr as an RN.Is it ok? I don't have an idea of the cost of living there. You know,am really quiet apprehensive since i noticed that there were only few nurses there.

Specializes in Oncology/Haemetology/HIV.

I have seen a number of cases that occurred post chemo, especially chemo using the newer biological agents.

Treatments vary with the possible causative agents.
