3 Steps to NCLEX success.

Published

1. Use LaCharity and do ALL of the questions. 2. Do as many practice questions as you can and read all of your rationales 3. DO NOT spend a lot of time memorizing lab values or memorizing content, YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME! 3a. Treat yo-self to a nice alcoholic beverage and a nice dinner after you pass and thank me.

I passed the NCLEX with 75 questions the first time and this worked for me. I thought the NCLEX was easy compared to LaCharity's questions. Good luck everyone!!

HEY! CONGRATS!! GOOD FOR YOU..!! 3 easy review and YOU RIGHT AWAY PASS I HOPE my BRAIN is LIKE YOURS..hehe :banghead:

Congrats !!! I take mine tuesday july 17th and hope for the same outcome !

Congrats! I second the statement of treating yourself to a nice alcoholic beverage, or two, or three. You deserved it!

The LaCharity book is awesome. About 5 of my classmates saw me with this book and they all bought it. My instructor borrowed mine to make copies of the chapters and we'd work on them in clinical post conference. The book was like a hidden treasure. No one in my ADN program knew about it. A co-worker who was studying for nclex after getting her BSN recommended it to me. Her instructor told them that LaCharity was all they needed to study. I also did a lot of alternate format practice questions.

which lacharity book?

Thanks for the suggestion. I've never heard of LaCharity.

It is a review book. I got mine from Amazon.com. Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment: Practice Exercises for the NCLEX Examination. I have read it is pretty good. I just ordered it so I have not actually used it yet.

It's so helpful, especially the prioritization because it's good to practice those questions about who to go see first. I had a few on my nclex, but this book also is good to use while still in nursing school.

Thanks proud nurse! You're right! The LaCharity book is definitely helpful. I'm using it as well and taking my test in a few days.

LaCharity is hard and important to read a few times. So, you only did LaCharity book no other books, CD or material?

Good luck with your test, Nikki!!!

I believe what causes people to not do well on nclex is getting nervous and doubting ourselves. Treating this test like it is as important as it truly is will be the best way to approach it.

I used a Saunders disk to study alternate format, and our school used the evolve website. You've come so far and are well prepared. You will do fine!
