So, how are you staying healthy and fit this spring? I've been making extra effort to drink at least 5 bottles of water every day ( I just refill my 16oz bottle) and I have been riding my exercise bike for 20-40 minutes daily plus using some free weights and doing pushups( for tones sleek arms) and lunges (trying to keep my legs looking slim!) Its so tough trying to stay in shape in nsg school, man, I am really trying hard. I have been indulging since its spring break in moderate portions of not so healthy foods but I'm more active though........I try to do some housecleaning or just walk more during the day...........but this semester I am determined to be looking good in this warm lovely weather, I bought a few spring shirts and skirts and some fitted jeans.........stuff that really shows off your figure and I am determined to look good in it! I currently am 5'3 and weigh between 102-106 depending on if its my time of the month, I had put on 10 pounds last semester but I cut back on junk and upped the water and started walking and using weights so the weight came off............so share with me what you are doing to look teriffic this spring/summer.............I'd love to hear!

Before nursing school, I did a program called Body For Life. 12 weeks of this program and I went from a size 12 to a size 6 and lost 6% bodyfat. I looked and felt great!!! Then.........nursing school started. Within 3 months, I had already put back on the weight I lost and gone up to a size 9. Now, I'm a size 12 and anxiously awaiting the end of school in May. I am sick and tired of being too fat to fit into any of my clothes.

I just started back up on the BFL program in hopes of losing some weight before pinning and graduation. It's such a great program for beginners to experienced dieters/exercisers. The most difficult part about it is trying to get in 6 meals a day, especially when I'm in class all day long! But I guess if I want it bad enough, I'll find a way!!

Doing cardio at the gym for 40 minutes 6 days a week. I found out that I can squeeze it in even with 16 hrs at school and full-time work if I just wake up a little earlier. I'm a morning person anyhow so it's not much sacrifice. I'm surprised that it gives me energy for the whole day. Quite a deal! :)

Swimming and if I'm really ambitious, I'll put that gym membership I have to use.

I have recently joined Curves for women. I like

the workouts but haven't lost any weight yet.

I'm new to exercise and need to lose over 100 lbs.

My couch potato lifestyle (since the beginning of time),

4 kids, a full time job, and an under active thyroid condition

has caused me to balloon up to over 300lbs. Please

pray for me. I'm trying. :o
