Probably the best place to start and they tend to go a little easier in grading if they know you are working hard at it.

Hate to discourage you, but I really haven't found a good site for statistics. The best way to master the material is repetition. Here's what you do: When the teacher does a practice problem on the board, write it down! Write every step that they went through, figure out why they did it. Then go over that problem ten times in your head and when it shows up on the test, you will fly through it!

This is the key right here. Repetition over and over again... Until you want to vomit. It is the only way I can make it through my staggering , breath sucking math classes.

Has anyone already taken Essential of Statistics class and found a useful website because I am totally lost and I need to pass this class with at least a "B"..thank you :stone

I found a good book. Lots of practice problems for each step. Written in plain English. Statistics for Dummies.

When I took statistics I just googled whatever I was interested in looking up and found lots of help that way. For instance I would would "correlation coefficient" and find websites that way.

I found the tutors on smartthinking.com to be very helpful. Find out if your school has an account with them and make use of their services. Anytime I had a problem, I would log onto smartthinking and they would walk me through it step by step. After failing my second statistics test with a 40, they helped me bring my grade up to a very respectable B.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I will probably be up late tonight studying and tomorrow studying all day. My test is at 5:40 tomorrow. Im not looking forward to it.

I took statistics and got an A but the sad thing is I remember NONE of it. Literally NONE of it. And it was LAST semester!

well that just depressed me even more. Now i feel really stupid :). I dont know why I cant get it. I always have to study math 20 times more than everyone else. Thank for the reply tho'

No you aren't stupid. Compared to regular math statistics is confusing. We were allowed to take in formula sheets- without those I would have flunked for sure. Chin up girl.
