I got this from Kim Cook the other day. It's the most recent list of states that accept ISU's distance program. I'm attaching and also cut n pasting. Can we please make this sticky?

ISU College of Nursing, Health, & Human Services, Distance Education Department is continuing to work with the pending states in supplying them with the required information for their recognition or approval.

Although the we have recognition or approval in the above states through each individual State Board of Nursing or the Higher Education Commission, we have several thousand students that are interested and have signed up with The College Network and are working on their general education courses, and we anticipate a large number of students will be applying to ISU and progressing into the Nursing Distance Education Program for the upcoming semesters.

I need some help from someone who already enroll in this program for couple of question;

1: I am LVN in California and I am not sure this program is credited by the California state board of nursing.

2. I am going to pay for the whole cost of phase I an II to the college network but I am not comfortable to pay to the program advisor since TCN does not accept online payment. Anyone has experience on that!!!! I really need you guys' help. thank you so much. Please help ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So do graduates that live in Georgia face the same problems they do with Excelsior??? Do you have to do a 350 hour preceptorship???

Looks like web pages have been moved.....but Georgia seems to be on the accepted list.. . would think that whatever you would have to do to graduate should meet the state requirements then?
