State test

For the cna state test do you wear scrubs? Or do you just go in normal clothes?

I don't know if all testing sites are the same, but my testing site did request that we wear scrubs. MAtter of fact, I had to buy a cheap pair of scrubs just so that I could test, and I haven't worn them since. I work in Home Care and my company requires that we wear kaki or black paints.

My testing site preferred scrubs as well but professional attire was perfectly fine as well. Buying scrubs for the purpose of testing is not strictly needed.

Our testing site did not specify but, I wore my scrubs. There was two of us in the class that wore them while everyone else wore street clothes. It just put me in CNA mode and I was comfortable so if you want to wear them and don't have to buy them go for it!

For our CNA test we were required to wear scrubs and a tank top under our scrubs. The people who gave test sent a message to all test takers that tank top was required. Teacher said she assumed it was because they have seen to many people bend over and reveal more then they should and it wasn't professional. Before any CNA exam, it is important to ask what to wear.

We had to wear scrubs

The instructor for my CNA course recommended that we wear scrubs for the state exam, but when I actually went to take the exam I was the only one in scrubs - everyone else was in street clothes.
