It's 23rd Nurses!!! I paid (don't yet know if I should panic)!! MY TRANSCRIPTS HAVEN'T BEEN EVALUAtED- YETTTT!! Maybe I should panic! Over 3k spent and I don't know what I am doing or starting with! BUT I could NOT wait till September to start my BSN & payments are due before 22nd! (No financial aid) So I gave up and paid (impulsive)... Anyone else in the same WEIRD looking boat as me?

Hi RNRules - I have to take 5 other courses plus the core nursing courses, but I'll just try to move quickly through them. I've already paid my tuition and completed the orientation (EWB) and am excited to start August 1st. Good luck!

Hi MyVieFolle07 - What a strange situation! I hope you're able to start August 1st as planned and find out VERY soon which courses you must take! Let us know what you hear this week.

Hi teacherturnedRN, Thanks for letting me know that you're in the same situation as me! I'm sorry you have to take the pre-reqs too. And, I paid also (hope I'm not kicking myself later), and have been trying to start the EWB since Friday. I can't get anything updated on my account, so I shot an email to my EC. Good luck to you too!! BTW, how was the EWB? I've read it can be done in a few days.

Hi RNRules - I'm trying to get a headstart on some of my pre-req's (eg. algebra, statistics) by using the free Khan Academy website (not affiliated with , but quite well-regarded and well-known). I was able to start EWB (and be assigned my Mentor) within 12-24 hrs of paying my tuition. EWB is pretty easy to use and informative. It is long, however - I did it over the course of two days. Good luck to you! Please keep us updated on how you're doing.

teacherturnedRN--I can't believe it! I just signed back on to let you know about Khan, too. I started watching the Stats videos a couple of weeks ago, but just switched to Algebra, figuring I'd likely take that first. I hadn't heard about him until I saw the name in a thread on here somewhere. The Algebra is coming back to me, but I've never taken Statistics, so we'll see how that goes. I really like his approach to teaching. Please keep us updated with your progress, too. Hopefully it will fly by!

myviefolle07-Good luck with your waiting game, I know how it feels. I waited over a month to have my transcripts evaluated, and then wished I hadn't! Good luck and please keep us in the loop.

I'm set to start 8/1 also. Today is the 23rd and I'm still waiting for my transcripts to be evaluated. Should hear back today. From looking at the transfer guidelines on the website I'm guessing I'll have to take a social science of some sort, lower division math, and biochem in addition to the rest of nursing courses. Good luck to all of us as we hopefully get started ;)Lorraine.

Hi RN Rules - How funny that you're using Khan, too! Good luck!

I am supposed to start 8/1 and I am waiting on transcripts from another school, they have the transcripts with my A.A. and A.S.N. you would think that would be enough! I have on the other transcript my english comp II, med terminology, and a computer class. I sent them my official transcript from that school b/c I do not know why they have not gotten it but they won't use it because it didn't come sealed from the school-hello it says official on it and matches my transfer credits on my other one! So stupid! I hate that school, I paid them extra to have same day mailing and that was the first week of July, yet still doesn't have it? I am so mad! I haven't heard from WGU yet but I am assuming I can't start for 8/1 :(

How frustrating, Chaisaci! I hope you can still start on 8/1. What does your enrollment counselor say? Good luck!

Hi teacherturnedRN! I just emailed her because since our final interview I haven't heard from her. I am hoping for a reply today. I really wanted to start ASAP! Fingers crossed! Also they haven't given me my financial aid award yet, wth is going on! I hope I hear some good news today, it is very frustrating indeed!!!!
