AFAIK, it's approved by all boards of nursing - it has all accreditation necessary. It seems, on average, people seem to be able to finish in about 2 semesters (each semester is 6 months), although quite a few people finish in one semester. I finished in 3, although I could have finished in 2 if I had been a little more motivated.

So I am currently in the enrollment process for my RN to BSN! I have an AS in Nursing. Can anyone tell me what prereqs they had to take since "the change". Also, how long is it taking you to complete this prereqs!?

What are these new requirements that you are referring to? How long does it take for them to review your transcripts?

I have a question about WGU. I'm enrolled and almost done with my BSN, but I'm asking to take a class that isn't in my curriculum. I've completed 25 units so far and can't start the practicum until the beginning of my second term (March 1), so I wanted to add this physical assessment course to take it in February. My mentor said this isn't possible, but I don't see anything in the handbook that states I cannot take additional, non-required classes at WGU. Has anyone tried to do this?
Kind of a weird question, maybe, but the MSN program I want to apply to requires a 3 unit course in Physical Assessment, and I thought it would be easiest to take it at a college I'm already going to.
Thanks!
