Just wanted to see who else is starting 9/1/12? What classes do you have to take? Can't wait to start!!

That's great news!! They still haven't done my transcript eval and I am getting a tad bit nervous! :)

They did mine and I was not too happy, I have to repeat courses because they don't "match" 's pretty upset since I was quoted from my first transcript in the spring that I only had to take nutrition :/ I was very surprised by my eval-I have 2 associates degrees and 111 credits so that I have 4 additional classes came as quite a surprise! But it is what it is and I just plan to plow right through them ASAP!

Hi everyone...still waiting for transcript eval, making me nervous, since we only have a week to go! I started EWB, and it's overwhelming and helpful at the same time. Also got my my mentor yesterday, now just waiting for her to call...

My husband is still waiting for his transcript eval too. They said it would be done by tomorrow. He got his mentor assignment yesterday and she will be calling him on Tuesday. Sounds like you're on the exact timeframe as he!

I too am starting Sept 1st, I just finished the orientation. I am excited, I wish I didn't have to take Biochemistry and Nutrition, but everything else went through just fine. I have an ADN an an AA so I am very happy. I just cant believe I never took nutrition...gosh. Best of luck to every one. Hope to see you guys on the community forum.

Don't worry about nutrition - most people are able to complete that class in less than a week.

Do you all know about the RN-BSN page at FB? You should check it out.

Transcript eval back...have to take algebra, stats, speech and biochem. Going to try to appeal biochem, I took college chem and bio at Radford U, and I think those 8 credits more than satisfy that requirement.

Overall I am happy and ready to start!

Got my transcript eval, I have to take college algebra which I am going to appeal, biochem, and language and communication essay and research and nursing courses. Pretty happy with the results just want to get rid of the college algebra because I have taken a course like this before.

Has anyone taken QLC1? The algebra requirement? I am nervous I will have to :(

I'm taking the exam for QLC1 on Friday, will let you know how it goes. It is a lot of material, but mostly review of algebra and geometry.

For all those worried about biochem...I was right with you a month ago when I started the program, but with time and effort I passed the competencies in 2 weeks. The Thinkwell lectures were awesome, and geared for my somewhat short attention span (I think the longest lecture was 15 minutes). I'm glad I ended up taking it as I found the tasks to be very interesting. Don't fret it if you have to take it!

Good luck to all starting the program in a few days. So far I'm finding to be one of ths best decisions I've made in a long time!

That would be wonderful if you could let us know how QLC1 goes. How long have you been working on it? Good luck on your exam!! Are you taking it at home?

How long were you working on Biochem before you passed the competencies?

Thanks!! :)

Just talked with my mentor she is kinda making me feel like I should only take 12 credits and I want to move!! Did anyone have this problem?
