Hi missie925, did you find out how much bellevue starts with base pay and night differential? When you did your orientation, can you tell me how long the process took? Thanks in advance!

Congrats on the job!!! How are you doing now at bellevue?

Specializes in Critical Care.

65000 and 8 percent evening differential and 10 percent for nights

Thanks JWEMT! :)

does anyone know how long the process is from filling out paperwork at nurse recruitment + HR calling you + appt + orientation?

Hey AARNBSN, i know there are no reply to your question yet. But did you ever find out?

Specializes in LTC, HomeCare.

All HHC hospitals including Bellevue start with $65,800.

i haven't found out how long the process is (though i heard it's a while)

i got hired 10/1, nurse recruitment told me to allow HR 10 business days to follow up .. tomorrow will be the 10th business day, so maybe i'll give them a call in the afternoon if i do not hear from them tomorrow.

Congratulations AARN, Its very tough to look for jobs nowadays. If you don't mind me asking. Which department are you going to work for and If you've heard from HR yet. If you haven't, I heard what slows down the process is the References that people provide in the application. So i guess make sure you call your references and give them the heads up. Let us know your progress. Again, Congrats on the job!!! :yeah:

hi jasel,

i got hired for a med-surg floor :) i'm anticipating that it will be very very tough esp. as a new grad, but i am prepared to go in there and succeed (hopefully).

i did call them on friday, person i spoke to in HR said that they anticipate i'll hear from them this week but i haven't yet.. i'm really hoping it'll be tomorrow. i don't know if it'll be my references, i had another job offer last week from another hospital & used the same references. nyc is a slow process i feel =/

you think i should try to call nurse recruitment and follow up with them instead of HR?

Hey AARN, :) Congrats on the two offers. That's really good because I graduated last year of May and just got hired at bellevue as well. Some of my friends from school are still having hard time looking for a job. If Bellevue already hired you and you are considering this hospital than the other one give them a little time. I don't know if calling the recruitment office is going to make the process any faster. HR is the next step from the nursing recruitment.

If you don't mind me asking, which other hospital gave you the job offer.?
