Does anyone know anything about the quiz next week? I mean, is it multiple choice etc? Will there be a study guide? Do we have to read in detail? Will it cover week one and two readings? I am just curious and trying to plan accordingly. Any insight will be great. I do not see any specific info about it. I guess I will have to wait to see what the TA says. Thanks!

This is what is under the assignment section for wk. 2.

This quiz is based upon your readings from Week 2. It must be completed by midnight of Sunday of Week 2. It DOES NOT require Respondus. The points are part of your final grade. It is worth 15 points. You have one and a half hours (1.5 hours) to take the test, this is to be used as time for you to read, analyze and synthesize the information...it is open book/reading! However, it will benefit you greatly to read or skim prior to starting the test. It is also strongly suggested that you type your responses to the short answer/essay questions onto a word document. You can then cut and paste your answers into the test. Blackboard will 'time-out' and freeze or lock you out of the test after a certain period of time. You will not be able to take the quiz again!We will not reopen a quiz for any reason!Be sure to read the Academic Code of Conduct prior to taking the test. Pay particular attention to the Cheating and Plagiarism information. We will be able to tell if the responses are not your own work!

REMEMBER, if it says discuss it should be paragraph form! Your discussion should also include examples to support your thoughts, please do not use the same examples that are used in the text or articles. Your responses should be from your readings, not from outside resources. Points will be deducted for lack of content, professionalism, spelling and grammar. NO citations or references are necessary!

Wow, I'm glad I wasn't taking a quiz when the power went out on my street. Even though the lap top has a battery back up, if the modem is out, no internet.. wonder what they would do.- I guess you would be SOL.

Afraid to attemp quiz with past issues. Reading chapter 1 was awful, painful etc.

How is everyone liking week2?

I'm wondering how much detail of this stuff we need to know for the quiz. I took notes on chap 1, it took me almost 1.5 hours. Havent started on the other 2 chapters.

Are you basing the Munoz assignment from chap 1 or are you incorporating info from the others as well?
