when to start wearing scrubs

my nursing classes begin in Jan 2010 and i want to know what semester nursing students begin wearing scrubs?

I just finished my first semester fundamentals I wore scrub pants and the required clinical top only when I had clinical. When I had skills lab I also wore it only b/c at the hospital I couldn't wear jeans. Jeans are what I have mostly in my closet.
