I keep hearing how great they are too but it's so bizarre that I cannot locate a group of students who are attending the online RN-BSN program. I've searched here and FB and nothing.
Things will totally work out. Don't lose hope. I know it's tough but I had heard from the nurses I worked with in Stockton that this area was super competitive and some even commuted to Stockton which would be like 1.5-2.0 hours one way!!  I was like why are you living in Oakland and working in Stockton?! Now I totally understand.

Have u asked the nurses about this Stanford location? I've been trying to look for other posts and even on reddit about peoples' experiences with this new grad program. I havent seen any

I haven't because they were either not working there or the nurses I was with were travelers.

I do recall a friend in one of my classes saying she had family that worked at Stanford and that they really liked it.

I see I see

I hope this one isn't as crazy hard and competitive as the palo alto location??

Ooo I hope not. I remember being on the call when they did the "how to apply" presentation and there were sooo many people!

Once I realized it was only Palo Alto and it was not the same as Stanford Valleycare I decided not to apply.

What did they ask you at the interview? You mentioned it was a tough one.

they asked all behavioral questions. One was "Tell me about a time you had a caring moment with a patient and how has it changed your practice". And they timed you ~2 minutes??

they asked 5 questions in total and honestly you're forced to just try your best??

I was honestly pretty surprised and happy that Valleycare had a residency program as well! It's sort of a second chance at my dream to start somewhere new? I just wish we could ask more people on their experience in getting into the program and whatnkt

sammmme!! I also feel that way about CSULB online RN-BSN.  I cannot find anyone online in the program that's replied to me LOL ?

Im starting to think there's some sworn secrecy ??

Glad we found each other here though!!

So crazy that we take our NCLEX the same day too!! I've been studying on Archer all day!

It didn't specify in the job posting. I've been looking for additional information (orientation recordings or anything similar) but haven't found anything.

Glad you found us here ? Here's to hoping we all make it!

Hi! And no, I havent found much information ? I've been trying to look for people on Linkedin that have been part of the program. So far I only found one person. Waiting on them to accept my invitation to connect so I can ask questions?
