Stanford RN Residency 2014

Published

Hi! Just starting a thread for the March 2014 Stanford RN Residency application. If you haven't applied yet, deadline is Nov. 25th at noon. Good luck, everyone!

I got a call this morning to schedule the panel interview! They're interviewing on the 28th, 29th, and 30th. Sounded like they had at least twenty people interviewing each day.

Congrats on getting to the next step! It seems as if they are slowly calling people. A few on Facebook had calls before Christmas, and hopefully more will get calls as the week continues. There have been rolling rejections too, so no news is good news.

Just received a call from Stanford and scheduled my panel interview. BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THOSE STILL WAITING!! So excited and nervous!!

Just got a call for an interview too. They are interviewing 60 first round, 25 second round, and hiring 18. Facebook has a new grad rn ca page.

Do you know if they leave a voicemail if you are unable to pick up? Or do they go to the next person on their list? I don't want to get passed up if I'm at work!

I'm really not sure, but I think I read from an old Stanford post that one person had received a voicemail, then called back, and interview slots were taken already. Not sure from personal experience or anything. I worry about that too with other organizations!

Thank goodness I got a call and voicemail! So they do leave a voicemail. Interview scheduled!

Congratulations delmel! And to everyone thus far with an interview. This will be my first RN interview, even after applying to every major new grad program in CA, so I am very excited!

Got a call from HR on Jan 6! goodluck to everyone! and hopefully those waiting do get calls :) they do leave voicemails

Thanks Keseratops! And congrats monRN!

Question. Does anyone know what new grads start out making at Stanford? I know cost of living is expensive in that area, but I've heard they don't pay well. But then I've been told they do! Would love to know at least a general range of pay for new grads if anyone has any info!

I'd imagine they make $50-$53/hr not including differentials as that what new grads start at other hospitals in the South Bay.
