Stanford RN residency program 2020

I couldn’t find a thread for the most recent Stanford new grad program and wanted to start a thread. If there is one already, lmk ?

Joining this thread! I don't think there's another one already. Thanks for making it ?

Perfect! Yay hopefully we get interviews... I read last cohorts thread and it sounded super super competitive like they took like two people per unit status competitive. So I’m not even really like hopeful but doesn’t hurt to try.

Thank you! Good luck to everyone ?

Hi fellow new grads!
Anyone have an outline of the timeline for hearing back/interviews/offers??
I'm from out of state, so probably no chance for me, but am anxious to know...
Wishing us the best of luck!

Hello! I had reached out to Kevin to ask. He told me today that if we are selected for an interview, we will hear the first week of February 2020. It seems he is already sending applications over to the RN leadership team for further review.
I was also curious if anyone’s status had changed or received rejections yet?

Thanks for the quick response! Oof, 1st week of February, that's so far away...
My status just says 'under review' right now.

Oh wow they do interviews way later than I thought. Thanks for the info! And my status says “application in review”

Of course! Oh my gosh I know it is definitely a long time to wait. Mine also says that! Also, I wouldn’t say just because you’re out of state that there’s no chance. On other forums I’ve seen, they’ve hired out of state candidates. Don’t lose hope!!

Hi! Also "under review," and wishing us all the best of luck in this process! I've heard about the high competition for this program too, and the long wait definitely adds to the stress haha. But regardless, thinking good thoughts for everyone, and grateful that we can keep each other updated on this thread ?

Thanks so much for making this thread! My application also says “under review.” Waiting is so hard!

just saw this from Kevin: ****RN Residency Update - 01/07/2020**** - Happy New Year, everyone! Here is a quick update from the RN Residency Leadership Team today: The on-site interviews have been moved to the week of February 24th. Candidates will be notified by the week of 2/16 re: interviews for the following week. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the update!!
Ugh February seems so far away... I might have to accept another offer by then ? Also because I live on the east coast, a week's notice to book a flight just for an interview would be a little too much ?
