  1. Sighh my application still says "under review".. I got a credit check a month ago, but no other news. 1st time applying, at a disproportionate share hospital, DTI: 200%
  2. Amazing, happy for you!! I'll eagerly be checking my email...
  3. Also received a credit check last week! Do we know if people with credit checks are more likely to receive it? Or do they just credit check everyone?
  4. I just got an invitation to interview for Surgery on 2/26-27!
  5. Ahh I already accepted another offer since waiting, but good luck to everyone! (Though I'm still curious to see if I would get a call! LOL)
  6. Thanks for the update!! Ugh February seems so far away... I might have to accept another offer by then ? Also because I live on the east coast, a week's notice to book a flight just for an interview would be a little too much ?
  7. Thanks for the quick response! Oof, 1st week of February, that's so far away... My status just says 'under review' right now.
  8. Hi fellow new grads! Anyone have an outline of the timeline for hearing back/interviews/offers?? I'm from out of state, so probably no chance for me, but am anxious to know... Wishing us the best of luck!
  9. So I visited Penn during the interview day, but I'm kinda tempted to go again for the admitted students day... Do we think it'll be any different? :OO
  10. Hi there! I'm in for ABSN + MSN for Women's Health! I currently also live in NYC so it does kinda make sense to stay for Columbia... But when I went down to Philly to interview for Penn, I really liked the program and the faculty! And I would be ready for a quieter city like Philly. BUT I worry about that 18mo of ABSN where federal funding will be crap for the 2nd bachelor's... Though I do like the flexibility of working in between the ABSN and MSN for up to 5 years. But at Columbia, I could be a DNP, but their program is kinda new. Ugh so tough to decide!! I wanna see the $$$ LOL
  11. What's the FB group called?? I can't find it...
  12. Just curious since I'm also considering Columbia and Hopkins-- what makes you say Hopkins MSN program is better? Thanks!
  13. Just called them, they said the maximum award was $25,000 and no other need-based aid from the school is available :/ Even with $15,000, not sure I can afford them. Will have to wait and see what other schools offer...
  14. Just received a call that I received a nursing leadership scholarship for $15,000 for the program! (Missed the call, so I just listened to voicemail..) Is that on par with what everyone else is getting??
