To all New Grad RN's
Hey y'all, I went ahead and created a group for us on FB. Search "Stanford New Grad RN Fall 2020" and you should see the group. We can fill out details as we receive more information from HR/managers. If you already created a group, please let me know and I can delete this one. I did a quick search on FB and only saw Fall 2019's group, so I figured we don't have one yet. Feel free to invite folks!
Also, just a heads up for those who are trying to schedule their COVID test prior to orientation—we have to get the test done within 7 days of our first day. However, I reached out to Kevin because according to our schedule, the first two days (10/12 & 10/13) are virtual, so the first in-person date is actually Wednesday, 10/14. Therefore, he confirmed that our target COVID test dates are between Monday-Wednesday, 10/5-10/7. I just called OH-REC and they said the schedule is only through September now and it's too soon to schedule for October. Feel free to give them a call, but they were certain that it's too early because October is not in the system yet. They said to give a call next Friday or the week after, when October opens up. They said not to worry because this line/site is testing for employees and they will not fill up; they assured me that they will get all of us tested within that window prior to our new employee orientation. Hope that helps!
