Stanford New Graduate RN Residency Program Summer 2015

Published

I didn't see this topic on here yet so I thought I would start one! Has anyone heard anything about interviews for the Stanford New Grad RN program yet? What units are you interested in?

Positivepwr- I feel ya! I texted my friend who works on the unit and she said to just be patient- they will call! I'm interviewing for CCU tomorrow. Each unit sets theirs up based on when they can get a panel together/when the manager has free time.

Did u guys ask for names of people interviewing us?

For D1, I know she (the manager) had not yet put together the panel as of Friday. But she will be on it.

greyiris34 / rn_15 / jbl123: What questions did they ask you today? Would love to know because my CVICU interview is next week! Thank you.

Anyone else interviewing for D3, cardiac surgery? The manager still hasn't contacted me. :/

Hi pizzaman! Yes I am - same here. No phone call yet. Pls let me know when she calls you..

Dear Angela!

Float pool is hiring 2 nurses (confirmed with nurse manager). Good luck! And thanks for the parking tip!

No problem! Thanks for finding out! I hope parking wasn't to hard to find for you! Haha

Interviews went well! Way less stressful than the first interview. Questions are very similar to the first round panel so no need to stress about that either. I still have one interview next week and feel a lot better knowing how friendly the management team is. Good luck to everyone who has interviews coming up! You will all be great!

RN_15 Yea- I definitely felt similarly! They were so nice and open! Best of luck on your last interview!

nosleepforSN! Hey! I got a call from D3. Did you get one too? I wonder how many they're hiring. I forgot to ask.

Best of luck to everyone! Stanford's management is probably the nicest I've met so far. Unfortunately, even if the units make decisions early, they won't tell us until after August 7 to make it fair. That's what I was told. :\

Has anyone had interviews in neuro, G1/H1 yet? How did it go?

Best of luck everyone!
