Stanford New Grad RN Residency Fall 2019

Hey guys! Just figured I would start the thread for Stanford's New Grad Program for Fall 2019, has anyone heard of when the application dates are or when the website will open for applications

Oh I haven’t gotten an offer yet! Just had my interview today and she said they are still interviewing people next week so expect to hear back next week ?

For those of you who were granted interviews, what was your background like? Did you have healthcare experience? BSN? MSN? Clinicals or ties to Stanford?

Trying to understand how my application could have been stronger.

I have an MSN, did my preceptorship at Stanford, have non-clinical healthcare experience (finance/billing). I was told applications are "scored." You get points for any additional certifications you have, points for your answers to the application questions, and points for content on the letters of rec. Hope that helps!

BSN, grew up in Bay Area, went to nursing school out of state and haven’t worked in the clinical setting (mostly customer service)

Oh totally read your response wrong. I think all my unit's interviews were conducted today. Ugh the wait is killing me already lol.

Had my 2nd round of interview today with a medicine unit. She said after round 2 applicants would hear from HR whether or not you got the position by Friday Oct. 4 Interview was somewhat laidback. Most the questions consisted of behavioral and obviously "why Stanford?".

My surgical unit department nurse manager said we won’t hear back until next week bc she is still interviewing ?but hopefully you all find out soon!

That's pretty late considering how ***** from HR posted about how he's going to update everything by Oct 4 whether or not you get the job ? best of luck to you!!

Mine was mostly behavioral, but I also had clinical scenarios. I was not expecting that at all ?

Question for anyone who got an offer!

When you accepted the offer via email, did HR reply back to your email?
