Hi guys, with the program application about to open I thought I would make a thread!

I also got this email Friday and assumed it was a rejection letter since the unit told me I should hear either way by Friday last week. I also sent an email to my manager over the weekend after receiving the "rejection letter" thanking her for the interview and asking for any constructive feedback from my interview so I can do better next time. I have not heard anything back but wish Stanford would be a little more clear on that email so we would know for sure.

What was the format of your rejection letter? Was it the one from the Talent team saying " we arent moving forward with your ap?" or was it from HR?
Hey guys, just an update for anyone still waiting. I got a call today to confirm my offer of employment (unit manager had previously called me with a verbal offer an hour after my second interview). I was told they are doing things differently this time and that you won't get any employment emails without getting a phone call first. There is a rejection-like email that is being sent in error (not sure in all cases), so that's a thing! Some candidates who had both interviews were unaware they were selected for employment, so there's hope if you're in that category. Just be patient with Stanford and you will be notified either way, they just have a ton of people to contact with one person making the calls. Hope this helps...I know the waiting is painful!
