Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the Stanford Nurse Residency, Cohort 41. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!
Applications open up at 12 am tonight! Good luck to all of us!

Same here. 2 rounds. When is your graduation date? Mine is July 2023. I technically might still have a third chance, but I think I'd have more than 6 months experience by the next application cohort time. I'll have to figure out the gritty gritty timing if that. We tried and are perfectly worthy—just wayyy too many candidates.

My graduation date was April 2023 so this October will mark 18 months! I think you are still eligible to apply if the cohort start date is less than 18 months since graduation. As of right now I have 6 month of RN experience non-acute care. I am waiting to hear back from John Muir but this year it's been competitive there too so we'll see. I'll try to apply to UCSF and hope for the best. I I am sure there is something better for us somewhere outthere. Let's be patient 😊!

Wednesday, I got an interview for Clinical Trials (my 2nd choice), and my first choice was oncology (most of my clinicals were in oncology/BMT/Hematology units). I was just wondering if anyone else who was also hoping for oncology also got pushed to Clinical Trials or if anyone knows any details about the Clinical Trials department (aside from potentially floating). I am hoping they still offer a pathway/opportunity to get oncology/BMT unit hours for ONCC certifications.
